Yes. The entire safety core — medications, dose logging, the shared audit trail, appointments, and the ER summary — is free and will stay free, for one loved one and a circle of up to two helpers. We built the app on your own iCloud precisely so we don't carry server costs that would force a paywall on the essentials.
No. There is no trial and no card required. You download it and use it. Evening In Plus is entirely optional.
Plus is $4.99/month, $39.99/year, or $69.99 once for lifetime access. It adds room and convenience — caring for more than one loved one (up to four), opening your circle beyond two helpers, snapping a prescription label to add a medication, and saving a doctor's details so you can reuse them in one tap. Nothing that keeps a parent safe is behind it, and you can upgrade anytime inside the app.
The monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel, which you do in your Apple Account settings — not through us. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel. If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted: you keep every medication, dose, and record you've entered. You simply can't add a fifth circle member or a second loved one until you upgrade again.
No — and typing a doctor's name and address on any individual visit is free and unlimited. Plus is what lets the app remember them in a reusable directory, so the second visit to the same cardiologist takes one tap instead of retyping. Repeating appointments are free for everyone.

No. Evening In uses a small amount of your existing iCloud storage. A free Apple Account is enough for a normal family's records.
