Terms of Use

Effective date: August 8, 2026

The Evening In app ("the app") is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which is the Terms of Use for the app and for any Evening In Plus purchase. The page you are reading supplements that agreement with information specific to Evening In — what the app is, what it is not, and how we handle your data. Where the two disagree, Apple's Standard EULA controls.

What Evening In is

Evening In is a tool that helps families track and coordinate an adult's medications, doses, and appointments. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not calculate dosages. It does not replace the judgment of a doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional. Always follow your prescriber's instructions.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for the decisions you make in caring for another person. Only invite people you trust into your care circle. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record another person's health information.

Evening In Plus & subscriptions

The safety core of Evening In is free. Evening In Plus is an optional paid upgrade that adds capacity and convenience: caring for up to four loved ones, opening your care circle beyond two helpers, smart scan, and a saved-provider directory.

Plus is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription, an auto-renewing yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.

You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, not through us — open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of the App Store; we cannot issue them. The lifetime purchase is one-time and does not renew.

If a subscription lapses, none of your data is deleted. You keep every medication, dose, appointment, and record you have entered; you simply cannot add beyond the free limits until you upgrade again. We will not move an existing free feature behind the paywall.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Reminders and notifications depend on your device and its settings and may be delayed or missed; do not rely on the app as the sole safeguard for time-critical medication.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evening In and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Your data

Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Your data lives in your own iCloud; we do not operate a server that stores it.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the revised version at this URL with a new effective date.
